Review: Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer

• Etude House •
Dr. Mascara Fixer for Perfect Lash

Included in my Cosmetic Love Haul:
http://criseldadavid.blogspot.com/2012/09/cosmetic-love-haul.html

without mascara/etude house primer

Left: with Etude House Primer     Right: added a coat of mascara

Left: without Primer-with 1 coat of mascara  Right: with primer and 1 coat of mascara

♥ As you can see it does lengthen my lashes more with the primer.
♥ Although it did clump a bit. im not sure weather the reason why is I waited for it to set for 3 mins and then applied the mascara.

I'll update this post if the result/ it wont clump if I apply the mascara after a good minute.☺

Left: without primer and 2 coats of mascara  Right: with primer and 1 coat of mascara

• Now here's the reason why I wont buy this again •
♥ On my left lashes I have two coats of mascara without the primer
as you can see, It is more 'prettier' than the right one.
♥ I didnt use two coats of mascara on the right because as I said, it was already clumped, and
I don't want it to be more clumpier(?) >_<

Now, please keep in mind that the result may be different depending on what mascara you use.
curious what mascara I used? yes, It is my current favorite mascara at the moment.
I'll do a separate post about that and a review for it. :)

REVIEW:

Price: 6ml ~ $8.09

http://cosmetic-love.com/etude-house-dr.mascara-fixer-for-perfect-lash-en.html

Packaging: Cute Pink Squeezy tube.

Smell: No smell.

Texture/Consistency: White colour, More watery than a regular mascara.

Suitable for: Everyone!

Holds my curls
Doenst make any mascara smudge
Makes your mascara more neat and lengthened
Reasonable Price

Hard to take off - tip: Oil-based makeup remover will help
Small quantity - specially your an everyday mascara user
clumps if you set it for too long before mascara

This Primer works perfect with a volumiser mascara since this will act as a lengthener.
Great product but not a must have unless your eyelashes definitely needs
help!
will I buy this again? no. :)

Thanks for reading! Hope this helps!

Review: JUJU Cosmetics Aquamoist Hyaluronic Acid Essence

JUJU COSMETICS Aquamoist
Hyaluronic Acid Essence

I was looking for a good Serum since I've used up my previous favorite Serum from Caudalie.
Review for Caudalie Vinosourse Serum if interested:
http://criseldadavid.blogspot.com/2012/08/review-caudalie-vinosourse-sos-thirst.html

It was expensive and I can't push myself to buy it.
buuut I found this Juju Serum from sasa while just browsing around on their site.
Here's my Haul from them if interested:
http://criseldadavid.blogspot.com/2012/08/sasa-haul2.html

The reviews from this serum was so tempting that I couldn't help myself and ended up buying it.
I have used this for a few weeks and I really wanted to review this the first time I used it.
but what I did is to wait a little bit more just to see whether my opinion would change; (might make me break out or something..)

Comments:

This stuff is amaaaaaziiiiiiiiingggggg! see that?
Soooo sooo much better than any serums that I have tried. I LOVE this

first thing, this spreads on my skin like water-soft-verrry soft water gel thing.
second it will become sticky but for just less than a minute and dries.
and finally when it dries, my skin feels baby soft. I was so amazed by this. I didn't know this
kind of serum would exsist.
and for the price? getting this amazing-ness? beats the higher brand.
This serum is actually for night time but I use this in the morning too.

Overall:

Perrrrfect.

Sunday Nails #5: Matte Nails

Featuring: MATTE TOP COAT by H&M

If you're curious how Matte Nails looks like then..
scroll down :)
.
.

What I used:

  • Revlon Quick Dry Base Coat
  • Barry M Nailpolish in ~ 47 Black
  • Rimmel 60 Secs Nailpolish in ~ 610 Metallic
and ofcourse..
  • H&M's Matte Top Coat

as always, moisturize your hands and nails beforehand :)

with revlon's base coat

with two coats of both nailpolishes. I used a metallic one on my ring finger just to
show you how matte top coat will look like with lighter colour.

I didnt expect thiss. lol. while I was about to coat my nails with thiss and...
can you imagine how I used this brush? haha.

mine looks a bit messy but i'll clean it up later.

For some reason, Matte top coats look good with dark nailpolishes.

It's kinda like one of those BMW cars, I've never seen a white matte car. It was always Black.
Have you noticed that too? no? lol. (im so random sorry) maybe its just me..

but yeah, I prefer Matte top coats with Dark Nail polishes on top. :) ~that's just my opinion.

I kinda like this look actually :)

There you go
a little information about matte nails :)
Thanks for reading!
